1 minute
Premiered by the DZ4 Quartet in May 2011. Tenri Cultural Institute, NYC
Program notes:
This short piece is a musical depiction of the cronopios, a type of fictional person appearing in works by Argentine writer Julio Cortázar. Together with famas (literally fames) and esperanzas (hopes), cronopios are the subject of several short stories in his 1962 book Historias de cronopios y de famas.
